(Zambian Breweries PLC v. Stanley K. Musa, Appeal Number 164 of 2014)
“It is not necessary that an agreement should be signed by both or all the parties
for it to be operative against a party who has signed it”. ***

A contract can be enforced against a party that has signed it notwithstanding the fact
that the other party may not have in turn signed the same contract. A defense by a
signatory to a contract against enforcement on grounds that the other party has
not signed the contract would be inapplicable and fail.
